This mermaid is 8 ft. long.
The tail is made of several thousand diecut "scales" created
from Rolling Rock and Miller lite cans (Green and Blue).
I used a hydraulic press and a blanking die I made during a
Jane Redman workshop at the Kate Wolf Designs Studio.
The hair is one sheet of copper with etching (Dremmel grinder) for looks.
The glove and ball give scale to the piece.
